The event, dubbed 'Le Grand FFA Easter Extravaganza,' saw a remarkable turnout with approximately 150 families and 30 FFA club students in attendance.
A Festive Atmosphere with Concession Delights
The event kicked off at 10:00 am with a bustling atmosphere as families arrived to participate in the festivities. A highlight of the event was the concession stand, which offered a variety of delicious food and snacks. From hot dogs and popcorn to sweet treats, attendees had a plethora of options to choose from, ensuring that both kids and adults were well-fed and satisfied throughout the event.

On Friday, May 17, Le Grand High School buzzed with excitement as students gathered for a highly anticipated rally. The event was a pivotal moment in the school's calendar, featuring nine dedicated candidates vying for student office positions. These aspiring leaders took to the stage to deliver compelling speeches, each aiming to secure the votes of their peers.

The candidates included Angel Amezcua, Victoria Bucio, Angie Gonzalez, Gissele Granados, Damien Lemus, Jesus Lopez, Ivan Morales, Kaitlyn Rabena, and Andrea Tellez. Le Grand High School's softball team showcased their dominance in recent matchups against Gustine High School and Denair High School, securing victories with impressive scores. On March 19th, Le Grand High School faced Gustine High School in an exhilarating game that ended in a resounding 18-1 victory. Just two days later, on March 21st, they continued their winning streak by defeating Denair High School with a score of 10-3.
In the showdown against Gustine High School, Le Grand's softball team displayed exceptional teamwork, skill, and determination from the onset. Their offense was relentless, consistently driving in runs throughout the game. With powerful batting performances and strategic base running, they managed to accumulate a staggering 18 runs. Additionally, Le Grand's defense was impenetrable, effectively shutting down Gustine's attempts to score. The game concluded with a commanding 18-1 victory for Le Grand High School, leaving a clear mark of their superiority on the field.
