Senior Leslie Rios checks people in at the blood drive

On March 27th, Le Grand High School and the vibrant community of Le Grand and Planada joined forces for an extraordinary event—the blood drive. From the early hours of 7 am to noon, the town pulsated with goodwill and determination as donors gathered to give the gift of life.

This particular blood drive was not only about saving lives through blood donations but also about rallying support for a cause that resonated deeply with the community. As volunteers set up the donation center, anticipation filled the air, and the buzz of excitement reverberated through the streets.

One notable aspect of this event was its dual purpose. While the primary goal was to collect blood donations, the secondary aim was to raise funds to support community initiatives. The organizers managed to raise approximately $700 throughout the course of the day.

The generosity of donors and supporters alike was truly inspiring. Students, teachers, parents, and local residents all came together, united by a shared commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

As the morning progressed, the donation center bustled with activity. Volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that the donation process ran smoothly, guiding donors through each step with care and compassion.

By noon, the donation center had reached its peak, with donors and supporters alike reflecting on the impact of their collective efforts. Through their combined generosity, they had not only helped save lives through blood donations but also raised vital funds to support ongoing community initiatives.
