Last week Le Grand's girls soccer team had two away games, one on Monday against Waterford and one on Thursday against Ripon Christian. Both were very interesting games however Le Grand came home with one win and one loss.  

In a thrilling girls' soccer match, Le Grand clashed with Waterford in a high-stakes encounter that left spectators on the edge of their seats. The game unfolded with an intensity that reflected the determination of both teams to secure victory.

In a series of challenging match ups from January 14th to 19th, the Le Grand Bulldogs experienced both the thrill of competition and the disappointment of defeat. The team embarked on a road trip to Delhi on January 14th, where they battled fiercely but ultimately fell short, losing to the Delhi squad with a final score of 59-53. Undeterred, the Bulldogs returned home to face Orestimba on January 19th, only to be met with another setback as they lost 70-49.

The Delhi game proved to be a hard-fought contest, with both teams showcasing their skills on the court. The Bulldogs displayed determination and resilience, keeping the score close throughout the game. However, the Delhi team managed to secure the victory with a final push in the closing minutes. Despite the loss, the Bulldogs showed commendable teamwork and sportsmanship, leaving fans hopeful for the upcoming matches.

Boys Basketball struggles during Winter Break

The holiday season brought more than just festive cheer for the Le Grand High School boys' soccer team. Despite facing a challenging Christmas break with a series of losses, there was a silver lining as they managed to score two crucial goals against Denier, both masterfully executed by the talented Esteban Lua.
