Le Grand Triumphs at Waterford On January 8th, the Le Grand varsity girls basketball team showcased their skills at the away game against Waterford. In a closely contested match, Le Grand emerged victorious with a final score of 26-21. The players exhibited a strong defensive presence and executed strategic plays that ultimately secured their win. The team's cohesive effort on the court and effective ball handling contributed to their success, leaving the fans in high spirits. 

Orestimba proved to be a tough opponent the following day though. Le Grand faced a formidable challenge against Orestimba on January 9th. 

Despite their best efforts, the team experienced a setback, succumbing to a 48-15 defeat. Orestimba showcased their dominance throughout the game, leaving Le Grand struggling to maintain control. The loss, however, serves as a learning experience for the team, highlighting areas for improvement and providing valuable insights as they continue their season.
