The annual Le Grand High School Homecoming Lip Sync was a big success with many students participating and cheering on. The Sophomores started things off before being followed by the Freshmen. The staff made a surprise appearance with 80s pop music, much to the delight of the students.
Up first were the Sophomores and their song where Sweet Child of Mine by Guns n Roses, I Was Made For Loving You by Kiss, Oye Mi Amor by Mana, Goofy Goober Rock by Spongebob, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, Tren al Sur by Los Prisoneros, Master of Puppets by, Metallica, Buddy Holly by Weezer. They managed to grab everyone's attention with a big weezer album banner during their set.
The Freshman of Le Grand High were next to perform in lip sync for the homecoming week. As everyone who was there on Friday assembled inside the gymnasium we started off playing some entertaining games such as scavenger hunt. They start off with the songs You Belong With me by Taylor, Swift Country Girl Shake it for me by Luke Bryant, Before He Cheats by Carry Underwood, I Feel Like a Woman by Shania Twain, She’s Country by Jason Aldean Mama’s, Broken Heart by Miranda Lambert Achy, Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus. And managed to perform pretty well they were all in sync during all of the songs and caught everyone's attention. And they performed pretty incredible
After the staff were the Juniors. With there songs being Stand by Me by Ben E. King, Summer Nights by From Grease, We Belong Together by Ritchie Valens, My Girl by The Temptations, Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis, Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry, Jailhouse Rock by Elvis, As Long as I’ve Got You by Charmels, Put your head on my shoulder by Paul Anka. Juniors did just as great as the Sophomore’s but with their choice of romantic music they caught more attention than the Sophomore’s.
Lastly, where the Senior’s with there selections of songs being Empire State Of Mind by Jay-Z feat Alicia Keys, I think I wanna marry you by Bruno Mars, Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift, Dance the Night by Dua Lipa, Singing in the Rain (to) Umbrella by Gene Kelly - Rhiana, Thriller by Michael Jackson, Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani, Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, Tokyo Drift by Teriyaki Boyz. They managed to make the crowd laugh during their last song where a lot of them fell off small tricycles they had. And during the end there lip sync all of the senior’s huddled in the middle of the gym and popped open confetti.

Ultimately the Freshmen won the day with their line dances and takes on various country songs taking the day. The Junior class took home second place with the Seniors finishing in third and the Sophomores taking fourth place. Ultimately it was a fun day for all involved.
