On October 1st, Le Grand High School held its annual Powder Puff football rally at The Fog. The event began at 2:30 PM and featured a series of thrilling matches that showcased the athleticism and spirit of the student body.

In the first matchup, the Juniors faced off against the Freshmen. The Juniors emerged victorious with a commanding 4-0 win, with touchdowns scored by Anabel Ceja, Aaliyah Ceja, Starly Bedolla, and Karla Granados. Their teamwork and skill set the tone for an exciting day.

At the same time were the Sophomores and Seniors. In a surprising turn of events, the Sophomores defeated the Seniors 2-0, with standout player Crystal Manzo scoring both touchdowns. This victory added an extra layer of excitement to the competition as the teams prepared for the finals.

The finals took place later in the evening at 6:30 PM, with the Sophomores going head-to-head against the Juniors. In a tightly contested match, the Sophomores triumphed with a score of 2-1. Aaliyah Ceja found the endzone for the Juniors, but Elisa Angel and Crystal Manzo touchdowns for the Sophomores secured their victory and crowned them champions of the rally.

In the third-place game, the Seniors faced off against the Freshmen, winning decisively with a score of 3-1. Athina Higareda shone for the Seniors, scoring two touchdowns, while Karla Rabena added another. The Freshmen managed to score once, with Natalie Elias Zavala finding the end zone.
